Who We Are?

Huron Hockey and Skating Association is an organization dedicated to managing and operating Tawas Bay Ice Arena. We are a group of community volunteers who focus on maintaining and improving the facility in the heart of our area. Our activities include a learn-to-skate programs, and various non-ice events and programs in the fall and summer, like Frozen Fear Haunted House, Trunk o Treat, and community concerts.

While our core activities revolve around utilizing the ice rink facilities for figure skating and hockey. The groups we support include the Tawas Blackhawks Youth Hockey, Tawas Braves Varsity Hockey, Tawas Bay Figure Skating Club, Tawas Men’s League, and Tawas Co-Ed League.


We also offer private rentals throughout the year. So, if you have an idea on or off the ice we would love to accommodate you.
